Earthpedia is a local application without an account system. We will not actively collect or store any information that can identify your personal identity. During your use of this application, the following types of information and processing methods may be involved:

1.1 AI Q&A

• Purpose of Use: Provide users with intelligent Q&A services about geographical knowledge and landmark information
• Information Type: Text questions and conversation content entered by users
• Processing Method: User text questions are sent via network to the third-party DeepSeek API for processing and response generation. We do not store conversation content on our own servers.
• No behavior tracking, no user profiling, no model training

1.2 Map Services

• Purpose of Use: Provide 3D globe display, map tile loading, and landmark positioning
• Information Type: Map tile request data (does not contain personal user information)
• Processing Method: This application uses the Mapbox SDK to render maps. We have disabled Mapbox's Telemetry feature, so no user behavior data or device information is sent to Mapbox. Mapbox only provides map tile data services.

1.3 User Feedback

• Purpose of Use: Collect user opinions and suggestions to improve the product experience
• Information Type: Feedback text content voluntarily submitted by users
• Processing Method: Feedback content is sent to our server via encrypted connection for storage, used only for product improvement, and not shared with any third party.

1.4 Favorites and Browsing History

• Purpose of Use: Allow users to save landmarks of interest and browsing history
• Information Type: Landmark information saved by users and browsing history
• Processing Method: All data is stored only on the local device, not transmitted or uploaded to any server. You can clear this data at any time within the application.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

We will not collect, store, or share the following data in any form:

• User identity information such as real name, contact information, ID number, etc.
• Precise geographical location or device location information
• Address book, SMS, call logs
• Unique device identifiers (e.g., IDFA, IMEI)
• User behavior trajectories (clicks, dwell time, history)
• Audio or video data

3. Use and Scope of Liability for Third-Party Services

This application uses the following third-party services:

• DeepSeek API: Provides AI-powered Q&A functionality. User text questions are sent to DeepSeek servers for processing. We strictly limit its use to generating knowledge-based Q&A responses only.
• Mapbox SDK: Provides map rendering and geographic data services. We have disabled its telemetry feature to minimize data collection.

Since we cannot fully control how third-party services handle data, please read their privacy policies before use to ensure you understand the scope of their data processing.

4. Data Storage and Protection Measures

• This application does not build a user account system; no registration or login is required.
• User data such as favorites and browsing history is stored only on the local device.
• AI Q&A data is one-time temporary data and will not be stored or cached by us.
• All network-transmitted data is secured through encrypted protocols such as HTTPS.

5. User Rights

You have the following legal rights related to personal information:

• Right of Access and Right to Be Informed: You have the right to know whether we process information related to you.
• Right to Delete and Withdraw Consent: You can clear local data within the app at any time, or revoke network access permissions in system settings to stop data interaction with third-party services.
• Right to Restrict Processing: If you believe our processing activities exceed the necessary scope, you may request us to restrict such processing.
• Right to Lodge a Complaint: You may contact us at any time to raise objections, or lodge a complaint with a competent data protection authority.

6. Children's Information Protection

This application is designed to provide users aged 6 and above with a safe and age-appropriate geography and encyclopedia learning experience. We do not collect any personal information from any users, including child users.

The app does not contain an account system, does not include advertisements, and does not use any behavioral tracking or analytics services. All core features run locally, with limited network connections only for AI Q&A and map loading.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child has accidentally submitted any personal information while using Earthpedia, please contact us immediately via email (talent.limited.ai@outlook.com). We will delete the relevant data as soon as possible after confirmation.

7. Amendments to the Privacy Policy

We may revise this policy from time to time due to product upgrades or legal changes. If significant changes are involved, we will notify you in a prominent manner within the application and will only process new data types after obtaining your affirmative consent.
